The Bible: The Bible is the inspired Word of God. (John 1:1)
The Trinity: We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the only Son, born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:23; Matthew 28:6)
Human Sin and Repentance: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Repentance is the only gift from God for the forgiveness of sins. (Romans 3:23; Acts 2:38)
Tithing and Giving: Tithing, giving one-tenth of our income, is a practice that began with Abraham and continues as part of God's plan to fund His work on earth. Giving is additional and distinct from tithing. (Genesis 14:18-20; Genesis 28:20-22; Malachi 3:10; Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42; 1 Corinthians 16:6-9; Hebrews 7:1-21)
Justification and Regeneration: Justification and the new birth are received by faith through the blood of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 3:24; John 3:3-4)
Sanctification: Sanctification, following the new birth, is also received by faith through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Acts 15:9; 1 Corinthians 6:11)
Holiness: God calls His people to a standard of holy living. (Ephesians 5:26-27)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16)
Water Baptism: We practice baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for all who repent. (Mark 16:19)
Divine Healing: Healing was made available to all through Christ's work on the cross. (Acts 3:6-7; Mark 10:46)
Holy Communion and Foot Washing: We observe the Lord’s Supper and foot washing as ordinances. (1 Corinthians 11:20; Acts 20:7; John 13:4-17)
Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, first to resurrect the dead in Christ and rapture the living saints, and then to reign with Him for a thousand years. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:2)
Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. (1 Corinthians 15; Matthew 8:12; Matthew 7:22-23)
Abstinence from Intoxicating Beverages: The Bible clearly forbids the use of intoxicating drinks, as even minor indulgence is inconsistent with the scriptural standard of holiness. (Proverbs 20:1; Proverbs 23:29-32; Isaiah 28:7; 1 Corinthians 10:31-32; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Ephesians 5:3-8; James 1:21)
Divorce and Remarriage: Divorce and remarriage constitute adultery, except in cases of fornication or death. Fornication is not simple adultery but being married to someone else’s spouse. (Matthew 5:32; Matthew 14:3-4; Matthew 19:3-12; Mark 10:12; Luke 16:18; Romans 7:2-3; 1 Corinthians 5:1-7; 1 Corinthians 7:2; Acts 15:28-29; Revelation 2:20-22)
Marriage: God’s design for marriage is the union of one man and one woman for life. Marriage between two people of the same sex is not in accordance with God’s definition. (Genesis 1:27-28)
